Privacy
Plain English, no lawyer required. Last updated 2026.
Your match doesn't live here forever.
On the free, no-account tier every match is temporary. Once a time is booked, the whole match — including every invitee name and email address — is deleted 14 days after the meeting date. A match that never gets booked is deleted automatically as well, at the latest 60 days after the last proposed time.
What we store
For the organizer: the name you type, an optional email address so we can send you your private organizer link and result alerts, and the meeting details you enter (title, note, location, proposed times).
For invitees: the name the organizer typed, an optional email address used only to send that person their response link, and the availability answers they give.
We also keep basic anti-abuse counters (how many matches came from an internet connection in the last day) and, if you send feedback, whatever you wrote in that form.
What we never do
We don't sell or rent your data, we don't run ad tracking on you, and we don't email invitees about anything except the match they were invited to. We don't ask invitees to create an account, ever.
How long we keep it
Free matches: deleted automatically as described above. Feedback you submit is kept while we're improving the product. Anti-abuse counters are deleted after 3 days.
If you have an account (invite-only right now), your matches stay until you delete them or delete your account.
How to delete something now
Organizers: open your private manage link and use “Delete this match”. That removes the match, its times, every invitee and every answer immediately.
Invitees: every invitation email has a “remove my details” link at the bottom. One tap deletes your name, email and answers from that match.
Who processes the data
The site and database run on Lovable Cloud infrastructure (encrypted in transit and at rest). Emails are delivered through our verified sending domain, notify.thetimematch.com.
Questions
Use the feedback button on any page — it reaches us directly. If you're asking us to remove data, tell us the match title and the email address involved.
